PVA Basketball action got
under way 11/10/09 as
Spartans faced the Franklin
Cougars. Lady Spartans rocked the boards with a score of 65-10 in their first outing. PVA Boys followed
suit with a 61-36 win. High
scorers for the Boys were
Chase Anderson with 26 points and Robby Jones with 14. An awesome first night.

PVA vs Briarfield 11/16/09
PVA Boys played the Briarfield Rebels in the Spartan gym 11/16/09. The game was too
close for comfort until late in the fourth quarter when PVA pulled ahead with the help of a couple of 3 pointers to win the game 60-47.
Lady Spartans
played an awesome game against the Lady Apaches
as they won
73 - 17.
The Spartans struggled with turn overs that denied them a win, but they played hard and will definitely be better prepared the
next time they face the Apaches. Robbie Jones produced the high point of the game as he shot a 3 pointer from mid court
and made it at the sound of the half time buzzer.

The Spartans fell to the Mustangs with a dissappointing
loss of 53-40. We never quite seemed to get in sync,
and the Mustangs were quick to capitalize on it.
