PVA requires that any student wishing to enroll must meet the following general requirements:
      1.  Be in compliance with the academic requirements of his former school
      2.  Exhibit no serious behavioral problems in or out of school
      3.  Have no record of excessive absences
In addition, the applicant and a parent must interview with the principal and/or counselor.  The applicant must also bring copies of his overall school record (including grades and standardized test scores) and his current schedule and grades if applicable.  This information will be evaluated by the Academy before admission is granted.  All new students enter on probation for at least the first nine-weeks period of attendance.  During this time grades, attendance, and conduct are closely monitored.  Current students may be placed on probationary status at any point in the school year for a minimum of nine weeks.  The Academy reserves the right to place a student on probationary status at any point during the school session.
